Information on the Wallasey constituency

The Wallasey Constituency elects one Member of Parliament at every General Election.  The results of the 2017 General Election in Wallasey are here.  You can find copies of leaflets and newsletters delivered in Wallasey by clicking on this link

Within the constituency, there are six wards that each elect three councillors to Wirral Borough Council.  The six wards are:

  1. Leasowe & Moreton East
  2. Liscard (including Egremont)
  3. Moreton West & Saughall Massie
  4. New Brighton
  5. Seacombe (including Poulton)
  6. Wallasey (including Wallasey Village)

The Conservative Party in this constituency meets regularly and welcomes new members.  You can join online here.  We are also keen to select new candidates to stand for us in Council and Parliamentary elections.  We also have a monthly Supper Club, that visits a different restaurant each time, and is open to any member. 

The Wallasey Central Conservative Club, which is independent of the local Party, is based on Manor Road, Liscard and is a thriving social club with 600 members. The club boasts its own bowling green, four snooker tables, a members lounge and a function room. New members are always welcome.

We need volunteers to help ensure we run a full operation in target areas at the next elections
Councillors, candidates and activists meet for a couple of hours on Saturday mornings to deliver leaflets and letters.
It's really important that we speak to residents about our plans for the future and the way in which Labour is failing the people of Wirral.

Supporting Wirral's Hackney drivers

Wirral's Licensing Committee has tonight backed calls from Unite the Union and the Borough's Conservative Councillors to retain the cap on the number of Hackney's licensed to operate.

Developers urged to 'get the message' on Green Belt site

Plans to build on a Green Belt site between Meols and Moreton have been thrown out by the Planning Inspector, following a campaign by local councillors and residents.

The site of the former Garden Hey Nurseries on Garden Hey Road is part of the Green belt between Meols and Moreton. 

Another new business opens in Moreton

The latest business to open in Moreton was welcomed to the town by the three local Conservative Councillors last week.

Wirral Cosy Rooms is owned by Dave, Scott and Ian and has opened a store on Hoylake Road.

Town Hall fails to protect Wirral's Green Belt

Residents fight to save local wildlife habitat

Residents and local councillors are set to oppose a planning application which could see the building of two homes on a former market garden site in Wallasey which resident’s say is the home of a local bat population.

Illegal traveller site returns to Wirral beauty spot

Travellers have returned to the site of last year’s problems at The Dips in New Brighton.  Around 20 vehicles have broken through concrete barriers installed after last year’s efforts to have them removed.
